For me having a passion for life is critical to our daily lives. To me it is taking time out to be at peace with my self and the decisions that I have made, being thankful and grateful for my surroundings, my family and my more recently I've learned to be thankful and grateful for my dreams and goals, seeing them as a vision for my future.
Without this passion for our future there isn't much assurance that it will in fact come into fruition. Having a vision board that allows you to dream big
and see things as you want them to be is key in receiving those things.
There is another way to assure receiving. Writing down your why, or another way of saying it is have a purpose, a vision and goals.
Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich" has a technique that works.
My definition for "a passion for life" is putting aside all other cares for a time each day to make ourselves our number one priority. That means a time to sit and educate yourself with inspirational literature as well as engaging and finding a self help book that you like. There are so many books out there on the market place, and I find reading them is worth my time.
We need to take time to exercise the bodies that God has given us. If you aren't sure what that exercise plan might be, just start walking, speed walk, when you know it is working you will break a sweat, starting at this point will be very rewarding. I will be writing about speed walking later.
Taking time to eat properly, that means making a list for meals you will have for the week, breakfast, lunch and dinner, making your lunch everyday and taking it with you to work is not only beneficial to your waistline it will also be helpful to your pocketbook. Supplement with high levels of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, your omegas and plenty of calcium rich foods, and drink plenty of nourishing liquids, which will include 8 to 10 glasses of filtered water.
Our bodies when we are young seem to take care of themselves. We think they do right because all we see is the outside, young, energetic, vibrant, firm skin. But my concern is the inside, our cells.
Have you ever seen the commercial where the attractive, thin women gets out of the limousine walks the red carpet and then collapses right before your eyes?
It goes on to say that her cholesterol is above 300. So my point is it doesn't
necessarily matter what the outside looks like, it is what is going on in the inside.
People like this may look good for a while, years perhaps but it will catch up to them.
Some sources say that the average adult human body is made up of 10 trillion cells.
Keep in mind, all of these figures are just estimates. At this time, there really is no way to know the exact number of cells in a human body. How many cells, it's determined from person to person, depending on their size. The number of cells in your own body is constantly changing, as cells die or are destroyed and new ones are formed.
The critical thing here is to keep all those cells healthy, protected from the bombardment of free radicals. Our brains work best, our bodies work best when they are nourished well.
Remember my illustration about the apple that has been cut in half one half is covered with antioxidants for protection while the other is being oxidized by free radicals. That is what is happening to our cells daily, they are receiving oxidized stress. Oxidized stress weakens our cells and the only protection against this is high levels of antioxidants.
That is why my passion is health secrets, promoting wellness through nature.
The reason I mention this "making ourselves our #1 priority, is because for some women, whether these women are in corporate America, women who have chosen to stay home and have a family, and at this point I want to mention those women who have decided to have a home based business as well, or those who have chosen for various reasons not to have a family. Lets just say all these women who have made their whole lives caring for others in one way or another are at risk for not making themselves their #1 priority. I believe that women in general have a tendency to put other things before themselves. That is why I love to educate in this way. To bring to our attention the importance of getting started right away, changing our habit patterns and making ourselves #1. This is not being selfish by the way. We need to be our best; so that we can live long long lives with pleasure, knowing that we feel great and at 70/80/90 we are still getting up and taking our daily walks enjoying the birds singing and enjoying the life that God has given us to enjoy. This is what I call an abundant life. This is a much better vision than the alternative; being sickly, miserable
and wishing it were different.
In order for it to be different we must do something now to guarantee that it will be.
Because of this I have made the decision to educate in order to fulfill my dreams and to give to those who are seeking more out of life. Be it better health or more out of life by starting a home based business. I can be of assistance to you.
Stepping into the unknown can be scary. Even the best of us have moments
where we are not comfortable in a situation, our hands sweating, our hearts pounding, our tongues get twisted but we continue to move forward knowing
that as we keep moving our success will be real.
Just the other day I was watching Oprah and Cher was on, they were in Las Vegas, Cher just signed a contract for three years at Caesar's. She will have her own show. Something that didn't seem real was when she talked about how she feels before she goes out onto the stage to perform, she stands back stage saying "I can't do this", "I can't do this". Yes after all the performances that Cher has done you wouldn't think that would be possible.
Such is life and I'm so glad I heard her share that. I had a similar incident happen to me recently I'd like to share. Here I am at a women's event sitting at a luncheon with 7 other women and it is time to make a one minute presentation, all prepared and ready to go, I stumbled my words and forget half of what I wanted to say. WOW I shocked even myself because I had said this one minute
presentation about 25 times that same morning.
30 minutes later I was in front of the whole group, 65 women or so and stood in front of them with my products in hand, ready to hand my lovely basket of M-2 and Forte to the lucky women whose name they were about to call, I got their attention and shared what my product was all about without hesitation or anxiety. Go figure. We all have things we need to learn and if we make an attempt to become that person we want to be there will be challenges and glitches but we can make an impact.
